Easy and simple recipe for Green Enchiladas

Ingredients

To cook the Green Enchiladas you need the following:

  • ½ kilogram of tomatillo
  • 4 green chilies
  • ½ chicken breast shredded
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • ¼ onion
  • Oil
  • Cream
  • Lettuce
  • Double cream cheese
  • 12 corn tortillas
  • 1/2 liter of water
  • Salt to taste

Step by step to prepare and cook green enchiladas

For the sauce

Step 1

Boil the tomatillo with water, garlic, chiles, and onion.

Step 2

Blend the above ingredients and add clean water.

Step 3

Fry the sauce over medium heat for 5 minutes with a little oil and onion slices. Season with salt to taste. 

Step 4

In a frying pan place oil and fry the tortillas over low heat. 

Step 5

Fill the tortillas with the shredded chicken as if they were quesadillas, plate and place the sauce on top.

Step 6

Accompany with cream, lettuce, and cheese.
