How to cook banana bread in the oven
Banana bread is one of the most famous recipes in the United States for its simple preparation and delicious flavor.
American cuisine is characterized by its delicious hamburgers or its famous “brownies”, but banana bread or “banana nut bread” is one of its simplest, fastest, and cheapest recipes to prepare.
Although the origin is unknown, its preparation became popular with the discovery of the chemical leavening agent, which produces carbon dioxide gas in the dough.
In 1796 America Simmons published in his book “American Cookery” the use of this ingredient or chemical fermentation agent, but it was not until 1857 that powdered yeast emerged commercially. It was thus that his cake became one of the favorites when preparing a bread like banana.

To prepare the banana bread you need the following ingredients:
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
Grease a baking pan with butter and flour or line the bottom with star paper (not wax paper) with the stars facing down.
In a bowl, mix the mashed ripe banana together with the sugar and milk until a light puree is formed.
In a clean, dry bowl, sift together the flour, salt, and baking soda or baking powder.
Mix the no salt margarine and at room temperature until you get a creamy point. You can lean on a mixer, or you can do it by hand.
Add the vanilla and eggs to the butter, one at a time, until well blended.
Stir the above ingredients with the banana.
Pour the mixture into the previously greased mold or with star paper.
Add the chopped walnuts or almonds on top of the mixture.
Bake for 45 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius.
Check the bread biscuit with a fork in the middle, which should come out dry
Remove from oven and let cool.
Unmold and decorate with icing sugar or brown sugar and more banana to taste.
Substitute dried fruit for almonds or walnuts.
The cooking time will depend on the characteristics of the oven and the height at which the baking pan is placed.
You can omit the cow’s milk; it just won’t be as creamy.
Some of the benefits of the banana are its properties to prevent fluid retention, combat constipation, calm heartburn, and regulate high blood pressure.
