Ingredients
To prepare the banana bread you need the following ingredients:
- 200 grams of refined or brown sugar
- 200 grams of all-purpose wheat flour
- 200 grams of unsalted margarine (not butter) or 150 ml of oil
- 4 medium eggs
- 1/2 tablespoon baking soda (baking powder or chemical yeast)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 large, ripe bananas, mashed
- 100 milliliters of whole milk
- 100 grams of chopped walnuts or almonds
- 1 pinch of salt
- Icing sugar and more bananas to decorate
Step by step to prepare and cook the Banana Bread
Step1
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
Step 2
Grease a baking pan with butter and flour or line the bottom with star paper (not wax paper) with the stars facing down.
Step 3
In a bowl, mix the mashed ripe banana together with the sugar and milk until a light puree is formed.

In a clean, dry bowl, sift together the flour, salt, and baking soda or baking powder.

Mix the no salt margarine and at room temperature until you get a creamy point. You can lean on a mixer, or you can do it by hand.

Add the vanilla and eggs to the butter, one at a time, until well blended.
